Project Bio

"Engineering Healing: Using Neural Stem Cells for Spinal Cord Injury Repair"
Bioengineering CNS derived adult stem cell neurosphere tubes for implantation into the injured spinal cord and screening of exogenous factors for their differentiation potential, for incorporation into the biodegradable, drug delivery, neurosphere tubes. These
tissue-engineered tubes will be implanted in vivo, to determine their ability to promote axonal regeneration.
