Admission decisions for the DEEP Program are based on an assessment of three application components:

• Teacher Nomination
  
• Statement of Interest (written by the applicant)

Step #2: Complete the Form

Please ensure that all sections of the form are complete.

On the form you will list your First Choice course for each Week that you would like to participate. You will also have the option to specify 2 alternate courses for each week (Second and Third Choice). You will be considered for your First Choice course first, and if you are not accepted into that course, or if it is cancelled due to low enrolment, you will be considered for your other choices.

If you provide 2 alternate course choices, you will be considered for early acceptance if your application is received by April 5, 2008. We will notify you of early acceptance into the program within 2 weeks of receiving your application. Early acceptance means that you will be guaranteed a spot in one of your course choices. If you do not provide 2 alternate course choices, you will not be considered for early acceptance.

With your application, please include your most recent Academic Transcript as well as the required Teacher Nomination and your Statement of Interest.

A parent or guardian must complete and sign the parent/guardian consent section of the form.

Step #3: Submit Form and Payment

Submit your Application Form, supporting documentation and payment by mail, courier or in person. See Tuition and Fees Section for details on required fees.

If payment is made by American Express, Visa or MasterCard you can fax your registration form to 416-849-0408 by April 28, 2008. Please remember to include all pages of the form and supporting materials, as incomplete applications cannot be processed.

Step #4: Notification of Acceptance

To apply for DEEP, you will need to submit a completed Application Form along with the required supporting documentation and payment. The competitive application round closes on April 28, 2008. Late applications will be accepted for courses with room.

Early Acceptance
If you submit your application by April 5, 2008, you can be accepted to the program within 2 weeks of the date we receive your complete application, provided that you have indicated 2 alternate course choices for each of the weeks you want to participate. Early acceptance means that you will be guaranteed a spot in one of your course choices. We will admit students into specific courses after the application deadline of April 28, 2008. You will receive confirmation of your course placement(s) on May 14, 2008.

Regular Acceptance
All applicants to the program will receive notification of acceptance and of course placement(s) on May 14, 2008. Please ensure that you have your application in by the April 28, 2008 deadline.

If you are not accepted into the program, you will be notified by phone by the DEEP office. Your cheque will be returned and/or your credit card will not be charged.

Late Registration:
Applications from qualified candidates received after the April 28, 2008 deadline will be considered for courses that have spaces still available. Please contact the DEEP office to find out which courses are still accepting students prior to submitting an application.

Our Cancellation Policy:
If you withdraw your application or cancel your registration before the April 28, 2008 deadline, you will receive a full refund minus a $50 administrative fee. After April 28, 2008 no refunds will be issued.
