Welcome to IMEC 2008, the 4th annual International Maintenance Excellence Conference, co-organized by the Centre for Maintenance Optimization & Reliability Engineering (C-MORE) and the Professional Development Centre (PDC), both of the University of Toronto. IMEC is the first Canadian-based international maintenance conference. Top industry and academic speakers will present each conference theme from two perspectives - professional maintenance practice and maintenance science research. IMEC is designed to encourage dialogue and collaboration between these two communities, enhancing the performance of both. The two-day conference will be followed by one day of optional post-conference workshops.
